Grandma Pearl's Mother named Ida Fox was my Great Grandma. My mother Betty gave me this bowl to "keep" (more like sacred)...it is from early 1900's. There is an iridescent glaze to it..unbelievable how vivid the colors are, after all these years, on the poppy design.

Toad ConjecturesThis toad perches atop a Seashell picturebook. The Antiguan seashell competes with Toad's marvelous skin design....bumps, lumps, no slime. Toad is a lidded creature; so a glass marble is under the box lid--when it rolls around a throaty noise emits. A starfish would be green-eyed for that patterned skin...good for summer reef-wear.
