This Christmas Shadowbox measures 11 1/2" high x 12 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" deep.  Wooden.
Glass-framed vintage country Christmas scene from a Christmas card inspired this art.  A horse & sleigh carry eager passengers on a snowy eve.
Included in the box:  Wooden horse & coach (carrying a Christmas tree home); miniature knitted gloves; wooden reindeer, mini evergreens, jingle bells, wooden holly and bow embellishments on the upper outside;  luminescent snowflakes,costume jewelry and more.

Vintage, ornament angels inspired the beginning of this art piece.  An ivy-covered china cup (upside down) lends itself to a perfect pedestal for the silver angel, accentuated by the old, mercury-style-glass bell, above center.  Added are old package, foil flower bows, Anthropologie muted green tinsel/trim, and more.  Antique-tinted sample cherub wallpaper gives depth in the background.
The finishing touch was found with the porcelain Babe sleeping in the Lord's hand piece.  Someone for the "Ivy League" to keep watch over.

Better Watch Out is a mixed media Christmas art presentation.  It all began with the vintage card (in the background)...whimsical and funny.  The cat is looking through a peephole to the little mice having their Christmas.  A couple mice sleep through the experience, but will waken to candy cane gifts left by Santa.

The art is composed of some items like:  old, tin 1950's Christmas tree; collectible Hallmark mouse ornaments;  xmas bells and baubles; balsam mini hatbox; hard plastic and painted white cat; miniature candy canes; collectible mama mouse with knitting yarn; tiny red chair; and much more.

Two vintage card scenes began this Mama's Pink Pearls box art. The cards were inserted into the canvas frame, under a faux screen door, found at Home Goods.

Loving care of a mother is seen in the children's poses.

Embellishments include: Vintage Blue, large Floral-motif buttons, plaster of paris baby shoe & baby; embossed sleeping baby in the upper background, embroidery hoop and peach creweled fabric; costume jewelry i.e. heart pins, cross; eyeglass pin w. worthy mother quote; vintage baby block; old thimble, pink yarn; ceramic cat; baby spoon; miniature doll; cameo; old plastic clothes pins; faux screen; and sweet, tiny baby buttons with illustration; and much more.

Sally shadowbox inspired from artist's love of the farm where she grew up--and where she raised a pet pig named Sally (that one day, unfortunately, had to be sold for pork chops). When Sally saw Sherry approaching the pig pen, she would flop on her side and wait for her to rub her side with a corncob. Sally also gave Sherry many silly piggy back rides. Sally started out her pig life as a runt.

The box encases many facets of the artist's farm life---a white glass barb wire insulator; burlap; guitar pic (Sherry used to play the guitar); 4H Club Merit pin; True Grit label (recalling the Grit newspaper that used to be delivered to the farm in West Branch Michigan--filled with exaggerated, bizarre, highly-questionable news stories); wire fly swatter shaped like a hand; miniature vegetables recollecting crops & large gardent. Sally the pig rendition was found on a fabric tote bag at an estate sale, and was actually labeled 'Sally' inside for the owner of the bag--what a coincidence and inspiration. A 'cow jumped over the moon' lavish pin hangs in the upper scene, as well as other items bespeak the artist's deep love for her farmlife upbringing.

Flew On Wing was inspired from artist's love of birds. Background bird ,found on folder, is embellished with glitter and has a vintage, red clothespin tail. In the foreground perches a Grackle-type bird. Included in the winged types are a dragonfly, bumblebee, and flying bird costume jewelry pin; as well as rhinestone trim, & poetic words.
