This mermaid art began with the shell-covered swan, found at a flea market.
The mermaid was crafted in my workshop.
Sails are constructed from wiring sheets of deep blue sequin lace found at Pier I.
Embellishments include costume rhinestone pins, faux pearls, authentic shells, bits of fabric seaweed-type netting, and more.
