Spring Fun

Spring at our house brings splashes of yellows & greens, more birds, calliopes of bright colors, and days of newfound hope. Little yellow chick guards a collage of eggs made of tin, jade, & glass. The huge crock comes in quite handy for many different vignettes.

In the foyer...upturned basket with sequined eggs, green gauzelike rabbit w. net, mccoy style ceramic chick, mother hen w. waxflower, and faux forsythia in vase greet guests. A 'Clark' wood dwarf unobtrusively awaits company.

Fat blue birds sit atop fresh moss in birdbath. The daffs are real. Since I live right next to a 'plant' greenhouse, it's fun to walk over and find spring delights. It's fun to keep the scene changing on the front porch.

Captured: Two brown bunnies and three rocking birds. The rocking birds were found inside an antiquated indoor birdhouse at an estate sale. They are old. Probably will end up in one of my shadowboxes.
Vivid Yellow & Deep blues prompt French influence on this recently-made bead necklace. I'm getting ready for a late May Festival Show.
