"Green Sea Pod" Mermaid whimsical mixed media sculpture by Sherry Candy Lane. The sculpture base began its life as a brown,metal pillar candleholder. Now it boasts 3 tiers of green mermaid sea life. The piece measures 10" widest point x 10 1/2" high.

She's perky & proud with red hair & vivid green jeweled gown (actually a designer mermaid ornament found at tag sale)--this mermaid balances on a glass ocean bubble in a twig-woven sphere that matches her shape.
An upside-down bow ties the whimsy together & is pinned in place with one heart-shaped multi-rhinestone clasp in rose pink, emerald green, canary yellow, & wave blue glitz, befitting the rotund sea maid.
